About Wormy Acres of Vermont

I (Jase) have been keeping compost worms (red wigglers, Eisenia foetida) on a smallish scale for about 4 years now — inside my apartment, in the basement, in outdoor bins, or wherever the circumstances allowed at the time. For 2008, Steph and I decided to take it bigger, and get enough worms to compost all of Outer Space Cafe’s food waste. With the new South End Farmers Market starting up just outside the building where I work (as a web developer), the opportunity was there to share my zeal for worms with other local folks. Thus… Wormy Acres of Vermont was born.

We’re at the Burlington South End Farmers Market on Wednesday afternoons 3:30-6:30pm, starting June 4th. The market will be located at 208 Flynn Ave, near Oakledge Park in the South end of Burlington, Vermont.
